Nutritional Programes
SERVICES & PRICES

In addition to offering one to one private nutrition consultations (see prices below), I also offer a FODMAP programme and groups talks / workshops:

Low FODMAP Programme
If you suffer from Cohn’s Disease, Diverticulitis or IBS, following a Low FODMAP diet is extremely effective in improving symptoms and wellness.

It is a complex diet to tackle without appropriate support and guidance.  Careful implementing of this diet is needed to ensure that the diet is effective and nutritionally sound.  For this reason the FODMAP diet should be provided by a trained nutritionist or dietician as this plan is not a “lifetime diet.”

This ten week programme covers 6 weeks of following Low FODMAP diet, then 4 weeks of introducing foods back into the diet.

MAKING SENSE OF MENOPAUSE IN THE WORKPLACE:
This one hour talk is aimed at men, managers and women in the workplace.
The new guidance from CIPD and Government Initiatives state that employers will need to review their Occupational Health and Safety framework to provide a safe, healthy and discrimination-free working environment for menopausal employees.
Menopausal women are the fastest growing workforce demographic.  Yet, many employers do not have a clear process to support women coping with menopausal symptoms.
I will provide practical guidelines to help raise awareness of menopause and put the right support in place for colleagues, managers and women experiencing menopausal symptoms.

MAKING SENSE OF MENOPAUSE:
Menopause can be a cruel time for many women.  The physical changes to your body can be overwhelming.  Yet it is the mental side that can cause the most anguish for many women, leaving them to feel isolated and misunderstood.
Menopause does not have to be scary and nor do you need to suffer in silence.  I offer talks on understanding the impact that menopause may have on your body and your life and realistic solutions on how to manage them.

OTHER:
I deliver talks to schools and sports clubs, targeting children and teenagers on their health and wellbeing.  The most popular talks I have presented (but please feel free to ask me about talks that may not be on the list below):

• SPORTS NUTRITION AND TIMING:  WHAT TO EAT BEFORE & AFTER A SPORTING FIXTURE
• SPORTS NUTRITION:  CRAMPING
• SLEEP AND EXERCISE
• SLEEP AND EXAMS
• STRESS AND EXAMS
• TEENAGE HORMONES: SKIN, MOODS AND FOOD
• BODY IMAGE AND WHY DIETING MAKES YOU FAT

UNDERSTANDING DIABETES
So much conflicting information out there.  Eat carbs?  Don't eat carbs?  I give talks on straightforward and practical nutritional advice on how to manage diabetes and general health.

TESTIMONIALS FROM 2019

A very interesting and informative session.  Karen, Chichester University (Menopause Talk).

Brilliant talk.  Very good and I learnt a lot.  Julie,  Chichester University (Menopause Talk).

Sue was fantastic.  Honest, engaging.  A really valuable session and given me a new life skill.  Laurence, Chichester District Council (Menopause in the Work Place).

I was furious to discover I had recently been diagnosed as pre-diabetic and even angrier that my GP referred me to Sue’s Diabetes talk.  However, Sue’s talk was brilliant.  She has made a very emotional and scary subject easy to understand and motivated me to take charge of my health.  Michelle, Chichester (Diabetes).
